It is dated 1917 on the chamber with the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle. The distinctive 8 inch barrel has the large tangent rear sight graduated 1-8 (100-800 meters). Three "crown/script letter" proofs and Imperial Eagle firing proof on the right side of the barrel extension. The barrel underside has the full serial number and firing proof on the right side. Numbered in the military fashion with the full serial number (9119) on the frame, barrel and barrel extension with the last two digits of the serial number (19) stamped on the various small parts to include both grips and magazine. Standard "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marked safety area and extractor. WWI nickel plated magazine with the wooden base that is re-stamped "9119/I". With an unmarked WWI era artillery holster with a cleaning rod and original WWI takedown tool and original walnut board stock. The renumbered iron is stamped with the number "9119/I" on top.

Very fine as refurbished with 80% of the arsenal dip blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear. The various small parts retain 10% of their straw colors overall. The grips are in very fine condition with nice distinct checkering on both sides mixed with some minor nicks and handling marks. The renumbered to match stock is in very fine condition overall showing minor handling marks and scratches from use. The holster and stock boot are both in very fine condition overall with a nice dark brown color overall, with tight stitching on the leather, both showing minor scratches and scuffs from use and handling.
