World War I German Army 1917 Dated DWM Artillery Luger with Holster and Stock

This is a late WWI Imperial German Army Artillery Luger that has been rebarreled with a custom 6 inch style barrel. The chamber is dated 1917, with the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle. The barrel was manufactured to resemble a standard 6 inch Navy version that was manufactured without any sights, serial number or proof marks. Standard fixed sights with the rear sight on top of the rear toggle (replacement, non-matching rear toggle). Standard markings and proofs on all the other parts (except the barrel as noted). With the full serial number on the frame and barrel extension, with the last two digits on the various small parts. A WWI nickel plated magazine with an unmarked wooden base. With a 1916 dated artillery holster, walnut board stock, a takedown tool and a set of non-original leather strap.

Manufucture: DWM

BBL: 6 inch round
Stock:
Guage: 9 mm Luger
Finish: blue
Grips: walnut

Good as assembled and partially refinished and rebarreled. The various smaller parts retain 40% of their straw colors. The grips are also fine with nice checkering on both sides showing light wear across the tops of the checkering. The leather holster is fine with clear markings, and good stitching with age cracking and scuffing on the leather surfaces, with a small dent/flat spot in the toe of the holster. The board stock is also fine with handling marks and light scratches overall with a screw hole on the left side where it was mounted to a display. A nice representative example of WWI German Army Luger pistol rig.
