Standard WWI Imperial German Navy luger. The chamber is dated 1917, (with the "7" barely legible due to arsenal refurbishing) and so is the left side of the front sight base, and the left side frame rail. The front toggle is marked with the "DWM" scroll. The barrel and barrel extension are both "Crown" and "Crown/M" proofed. It is fitted with the distinctive 6 inch Navy style barrel with the standard blade front and two position (100 and 200) Navy rear sight. It has a nickel plated magazine body with the Navy wooden bottom base re-numbered to match gun and marked with a small Crown over "M" proof. The pistol has a rust blue finish with straw colored small components and is fitted with checkered walnut grips.
