World War I DWM 1917 Dated Artillery Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol
Dated 1917 on the chamber, with the "DWM" monogram on the toggle. Fitted with blade front and tangent rear sights, the latter numbered to match the gun and fitted with a fine adjustment screw. The right side of the chamber has a set of three "crown/ gothic letter" proofs and the "Imperial Eagle" firing proof, which is repeated on the barrel and breechblock. Matching serial numbers barrel, extension and frame with "52" on most small parts. Proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marked upper safety position and extractor, blue magazine with wood base and replacement checkered grips.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 90% original finish with some thinning on the barrel and some high edge wear. The replacement grips are ill-fitting, but are good with some moderate wear and scattered minor dings and dents with crisp checkering. Clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
