World War I DWM 1917 Dated Artillery Luger Pistol with Holster and Shoulder Stock
Dated 1917 on the chamber, with the "DWM" monogram on the toggle. Fitted with blade front and tangent rear sights, the latter numbered to match the gun. The right side of the chamber has a set of three "crown/ Gothic letter" proofs and the "Imperial Eagle" firing proof, which is repeated on the barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers on the latch, side plate, trigger, sear, hold open, safety components, toggle links, extractor, breechblock and firing pin. Proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marked upper safety position and extractor, nickel plated magazine with unmarked wood base and checkered grips. Included with the pistol is an unmarked brown leather holster and a shoulder stock numbered to another gun.

Condition: Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, light edge wear and minor handling marks. 40% of the original straw colors remain. Grips are very fine, with some darkening around the edges and minor pressure dents. Holster is good, with cracking and no shoulder straps, and the stock is fine, with cracking leather and mild dents. Mechanically excellent.
