World War I DWM 1914 Military Model 1917 Dated Luger Pistol

Fixed sights, with "1917" on the chamber and the "DWM" monogram on the toggle. Three "crown/letter" proofs and an "Imperial eagle" firing proof are present on the right side of the extension, with the eagle repeated on the barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers on the frame, barrel and extension, with matching partial numbers on the takedown latch, side plate, trigger, sear, safety, toggle links and extractor. With checkered walnut grips and a nickel finished wood base magazine.

Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray and brown patina, mild edge wear and scattered handling marks. Bright straw colors are present, with the trigger having been restored, the balance of the parts original, and some dents on the takedown latch. The magazine sticks and has a broken follower. Grips are fine, with a small chip beneath the safety lever and mild dents. Mechanically functions fine, but hold-open does not engage.
