Two books signed by World War I aces: a hardcover limited edition of Nocturne Militaire published by George H. Doran in 1927, numbered 111/150, signed on the colophon in fountain pen by the author, "Elliott White Springs," who is credited with shooting down 16 enemy aircraft during WWI; and a later printing of I Flew With the Lafayette Escadrille published by E. C. Seale in 1963, hardcover with dust jacket, signed and inscribed on the title page in fountain pen to a fellow WWI veteran and author, "To Arch Whitehouse, with warmest regards. Would that our future could be as bright as our past, Ted, Edwin C. Parsons, January 1964." In overall fine condition.
