Davenport library,</B></I> with his personal library bookplate in the front, <I>EX LIBRIS JOHN S DAVENPORT.</B></I> This is also one of his personal work copies with penciled and penned notes throughout the book listing changes and additions to a planned upcoming edition. There are also numerous pictures pasted in the book to replace old pictures and add new pictures. The spine and cover have heavy wear and tape residue along the spine shows an attempt in the past to cover the ragged spine.
