In part: “I need not tell you how much I appreciate the invitation to speak at the dinner of your Alumni Association in New York on the 5th Feb., but I am sorry to say that a previous engagement prevents.” Intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature), moderate overall toning, and some show-through from mounting remnants to left border, otherwise fine condition.
