In full: “Thank you for your letter of April 2nd in the interest of Colonel Birch. I am glad to have it.” A postscript, added and initialed by Wilson, reads: “Don’t let the newspapers affect your conclusions at all.” In very good condition, with scattered light creases, mild toning to the edges, and slight spreading to typed ink and signature.
