Vellum DS as president, one page, 14.25 x 18.25, March 16, 1917. Wilson appoints Marion B. Humphrey First Lieutenant in the Marine Corps, signed by Wilson at the conclusion and countersigned by Secretary of Navy Joseph Daniels. In very good condition, with moderate horizontal creasing and wrinkling, some of which mildly affects the signature, uniform toning, scattered moderate soiling, and the signature a shade light.
