<B> Woodrow Wilson Typed Letter Signed </B></I> "<I>Woodrow Wilson.</B></I>" One page, typed letter, 8" x 10.5", dated March 18, 1903, from Princeton, Jersey. This letter was written to a Mr. J. Don. Zulick in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The letter was written to express Wilson's regret that he was unable to come give a speech about the public school system. It reads in part, "<I>I do not think that an opinion of the strength and weakness of the American public school system could be expressed in any brief way without risking misapprehension, and I am absolutely without the leisure in which to give a full expression to my views.</B></I>" This letter was written when Wilson was president of Princeton University. <BR><BR> In fine condition with no major flaws. The signature is in dark and bold letters, in blue ink. The letter comes with the original envelope. The paper itself is slightly yellowed, and has the expected folds. A great lot from Wilson's early political and academic career.
