<B>Woodrow Wilson Typed Letter Signed</B></I> "<I>Woodrow Wilson</B></I>". One page, 5.25" x 8", Princeton, May 2, 1896, to R. U. Johnson. In this letter Wilson declines to write a magazine article on W. E. H. Lecky, Irish historian. It reads in part: "I am very sorry to say that it will not be possible to write anything about Lecky...I am glad you want the article, and sorry you cannot get it."
