Lovely Victorian wooden Biscuit barrel made of oak. Not only
does it have the traditional silver plate lid, rim and handle but it
also sports 3 additional bands of silverplate and a very elaborate
shield on the front. It also features raised carvings of scrools
and leaves on either side of the shield. Slight crazing on the
interior china liner. Traditionally used to
serve biscuits during the afternoon tea, it is now an elegant
holdler for whatever you desire, from pasta to crackers or even
candy.
