Wood cased pair of Manton percussion single shot pistols, .50 cal., 7” octagon barrels marked “London”, checkered wood stocks, #NVSNs. These guns are in overall good + condition showing an uncleaned brown patina on barrels and case hardened lock plates and hammers gone to a silvery finish mixed with brown patina; engraving is tasteful, bores are overall good, actions are crisp, flared wood ramrods are retained; wood stocks are both overall good with scattered wear, nicks and mars from carry and storage; the box is in overall good condition with green baize material lining and compartments for the pistols only (no compartments for accessories), the exterior of the box shows scattered mars, scratches and some slight graining separation; hinges are tight and key escutcheon is bone or ivory.
