Octavo (7” x 4.5”). xiv, 256 pp. Complete with twenty-one wood engravings on plates or in the text, and with two folding maps (one color). In a handsome modern binding of half black polished calf over marbled boards, gilt, spine in six compartments with five raised bands, ruled in gilt and with a red morocco label lettered in gilt. All edges and endpapers marbled. With very small dampstains to the bottom fore-edge corners of the preliminary pages, minor occasional foxing, otherwise a very good, handsome copy.
