Extra fancy horsehair bridle made in the Walla Walla, Washington Prison. Inlaid abalone, black onyx, and scalloped conchos are just a few of the extra special features of this beautiful bridle. Pictured in “Horsehair Bridles" by Ned & Jody Martin with the following description: "This unknown maker with his design innovations of engraved silver buckles with beveled settings, intricately engraved horse heads motifs, and beautifully crafted bridle rosettes, exemplifies his originality and creative skills. Note the masterfully braided thin strips of black horsehair attached to the leather backing." A great prison-made artifact.
