Original pamphlet of Anthony’s article titled “The Status of Woman, Past, Present, and Future” (originally printed in The Arena, May 1897), 6 x 9, eight pages, signed in ink at the top of the first page, “With kind regards, Susan B. Anthony, Rochester, N.Y., Dec. 28/97.” In fine condition. A great example of Anthony’s reflections on the efforts to change the status of women that had taken place since the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848.
