<B>Mary Edwards Walker Signature</B></I> with a very brief biographical statement on a 4.25" x 3.75" card: "<I>Dr. Mary E. Walker Late A. A. Luizen U.S.A. Author of Hit & of Unmasked</B></I>" referring to her 1871 volume, <I>Hit, Essays on Womens Rights</B></I> and <I>Unmasked, or the Science of Immorality ,</B></I> (1878). Mounted to a 6" x 9.5" piece of card stock to which has also been affixed a magazine photo of Walker in men's attire. Walker (1832-1919) was a highly regarded American physician and social reformer, known for wearing men's attire on in public. Save for some pencil notations, the card is very bright and clean.
