<B>William McKinley & Morgan Bulkeley: An Unusual Convention "Hopeful" Ribbon from 1896.</B></I> While we have encountered several similar versions by the same manufacturer touting Connecticut Governor Morgan Bulkeley for vice-president, this is the first we have seen which also lists McKinley at the top as the presidential choice. Bulkeley was president of baseball's National League, giving this rare item crossover appeal in two hobbies.
