<B> Harold Lloyd William Cahn: <I>Harold Lloyd's World of Comedy</B></I></B></I> <B>Inscribed and Signed by Lloyd.</B></I> (New York: Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1964), first edition, 208 pages including Index, light gray cloth with black lettering on the spine, 8vo (6.25" x 9.25"), dust jacket (in protective Mylar), housed in a red custom quarter leather slipcase with marbled boards and gilt lettering & five raised bands on the spine. Inscribed and signed "<I>To Jan and David Miller. Thanks for the afternoon - It's a pleasure to be with you. Harold Lloyd small illustration of eyeglasses '64.</B></I>" on the front free endpaper. Harold Lloyd was one of the darlings of the silent screen comedy era in 1920s Hollywood, and his films remain among the most cherished silent movies ever made, especially for the daredevil chase sequences. Several news clippings pertaining to Lloyd are laid-in.
