In part: “I returned for work agreed upon before Xmas-& have turned down four jobs-one to play in ‘Our Town’ in England! What fun! But this of necessity as well as desire-come first of course. Now I will return to NYC around March 6 or 7 for more coffee commercials! I tried to reach you at home or at the paper-about 6 times-& home didn’t answer - While the office never came upon quiet! Always Peace is so elusive!” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Hamilton’s hand, as well as a second letter from a gentleman to White, enclosing a color candid snapshot of White and Hamilton.
