Auction Details
New York City Winter Auction featuring Part 9 of the Schingoethe Collection of Obsolete Currency Collection and other categories such as Confederate Currency, Colonial Currency, and Stock Certificates. Schingoethe material is split between Public and Mail Bid, with especially good selections of Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Michigan New York, Wisconsin, and Western States. Schingoethe section continues with Obsolete Sheets, Advertising Notes, Tiffany Scrip, Political and Labor Exchange Notes, Depression Scrip, and large album groups. A large group of Books features the rare Poor’s Manuals and Manual of the Railroads of the U.S. The sale contains lots of varying price estimates, so that all levels of collector might participate.
