Signed book: The Second World War Volume I: The Gathering Storm. Later printing. London: Cassell & Co., 1950. Hardcover, 5.75 x 8.25, 724 pages. Signed on the second free end page, “Inscribed by Winston S. Churchill 1950.” In fine condition, with some light tears to left side of signed page and a light diagonal crease through a single letter of signature, light sunning to spine, and some scattered light foxing to fore edges. An epic account of one of history’s most crucial times, published in six volumes, won him the Nobel Prize in 1953.
