[Winston Churchill]<P> A COLLECTION OF ITEMS FORMERLY THE PROPERTY OF NORTMAN C. BENNETT. Mr Bennett was an officer in the Grenadier Guards from 1917, and later chairman and Managing Director of his family's print business, Cockayne, based in London. The collection includes a hand-illuminated scroll presented by the company's employees when he was commissioned during World War I, and a booklet celebrating the centenary of Cockaynes in 1944, with a slip loosely inserted: Inscribed for Norman C.Bennett, Winston S. Churchill, 1944.<P> Also, a copy of William L. Shirer's Rise and Fall of the Third Reich (paperback) inscribed by Shirer. <I>A collection<P> <P>£300-500 <P>
