Rare and candid original press photo of Prime Minister Winston Churchill inspecting Allied troops in the field. In the foreground, American and 327th U.S. Infantry flags are hoisted over Churchill's image. The 327th was part of the U.S. 101st Airborne Division which landed on Utah Beach during the D-Day invasion, after which this photograph was likely taken.
