Winston Churchill typed letter signed to famed English cricketer Sir Eric Crankshaw. Written during Churchill's ''wilderness years'' dated 16 November 1929, letter reads in full, ''My dear Crankie, How nice of you to write to me. I am delighted you have made such a success of your appointment and that you are happy in it. I was sure that no one would do the work better. Do come and see us one day. Yours very sincerely.'' Letter measures 7.5'' x 6.5''. Full Churchill signature nicely penned. Mailing folds, otherwise very good condition.
