Mexican War and Union commander (1786–1866) nicknamed ‘Old Fuss and Feathers’ for his love of military pageantry. Original vintage 2.25 x 4 carte-de-visite photo, apparently a Brady photo, of Scott seated outdoors in full dress uniform, signed in the lower border in black ink. Lightly trimmed edges, mounting remnant to reverse, and a few scattered light spots to image, otherwise fine condition.
