Young, M.C. from Illinois, a copy or extracts of the field notes made by the Engineers on the route of the National Road from Terrehaute to Vandalia…for the use of the Atlantic & Mississippi Rail-Company"; and a Bank of the United States check, 5.5 x .25, filled out and signed by Scott, "Winfield Scott," payable to Mr. St. John for $12, April 24, 1830. In fine condition. Accompanied by three engraved portraits bearing facsimile signatures.
