Winchester special ordered 1894 deluxe rifle, 26" half round, half octagon barrel, full magazine, takedown frame, checkered select walnut buttstock, plain uncheckered forend. Winchester pistol grip cap, hardrubber buttplate, .32 Winchester Speciacaliber, with Winchester .32 special model 94 rear sight, Lyman tang sight, #256862. The barrel and magazine tube show 90-95% thinning and toning original blue finish. Some slight erosion and normal aging just starting. The frame shows 30-60% bright blue drifting on the edges. The takedown collar and forend cap have drifted to patina. The hammer shows 30-60% case hardening, the lever shows traces of case hardening. The uncheckered and plain forend shows 50-60% original varnish and some minor scratches, mars, oil staining, and normal use. The buttstock is 2-3X select walnut, nicely checkered, and in good condition with some even wear and loss of varnish, small marks, dings, etc. There is some minor pitting and erosion onthe right bottom edge of the frame. Markings are good and sharp, action tight, bore near excellent. We cannot explain why this rifle has a deluxe buttstock and plain forend other than it may have been a factory or period replacement as it matches

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
