Winchester model 9422 lever-action .22 caliber rifle, finely factory engraved and gold inlaid with deluxe checkered wood stocks, serial #F300000. Like new in box with end-label which reads “1986 special show gun, with correct serial number dated 3/4/86.” And initials “A.E.G.” The rifle shows fine quality scroll engraving with a center panel of jumping rabbit on left, signed by engraver “T. L. Wallace. Right side of action shows a panel of squirrel in tree in gold with fine engraved borders, flush gold lines, high polish blue finish. The rear of the action is signed in scroll by S. Welch indicating two engravers worked together on this exhibition piece. The gun is stocked in select burl walnut with fancy Fleur de Lis type checkering and the rifle shows a large buck-horn type factory rear sight. The rifle is new in box and shows no evidence of firing or use, 99% to mint. The box shows some storage and transport, normal aging. Label is matching to the gun. From the Robert Petersen estate. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
