Winchester model 70 XTR sporter magnum, 7mm Remington mag caliber, finely factory exhibition grade engraved and cold inlaid, serial #G1761574. The engraving is signed K. Hurst on the rear of the frame beneath the bolt groove. Believed to be one of a group of Winchester Exhibition arms purchased by Robert Peterson. The rifle is in excellent original condition, shows a sating finish burl walnut stock, and a leather covered recoil pad in the English style. The bolt and follower are engine turned. The rifle shows no evidence of being fired but shows two nicks on the floorplate in the middle of the gold inlay. Shows some slight firing and minor use, and the recoil pad is an addition. The stock measures 13-1/4” to the end of the wood, 13-7/8” to the end of the pad. From the Robert Petersen Collection. Est: $1,250 - $2,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
