Winchester model 65 lever-action rifle, .218 bee caliber, with early bolt peep sight, mounted with model 29S Weaver scope on T6 side mount. Serial #1006028. The rifle remains in near fine original condition showing 95-98% original blue, just toning slightly with some thinning at the edges and bottom side of frame and muzzle. The stock is very good plus to near fine with some minor storage scratches, marks, slight handling and minor use. The buttplate shows some rust and erosion, but is the original milled steel and possibly can be cleaned. The scope and mount show 95-98% blue. The dovetail in barrel is plugged and it is possible that the scope was factory supplied. The action is crisp, the bore very good, and may clean as it is dirty. Est: $1,400 - $2,800
