Winchester model 54, bolt-action sporting rifle in desirable .22 hornet caliber, with small “k” marking behind factory marking indicating opening of chamber. The barrel shows tap holes and screws in front of forward dovetail on barrel. The action is drilled and tapped, and shows filler screws from receiver sight. The action is mounted with a redfield scope base in original tap holes. The stock has been cut out for base of receiver sight, which has been removed. The metal retains approx. 80 – 90% original blue on barrel and action, thinning at edges and muzzle with some slight erosion and pin-prick pitting. The trigger guard has drifted to traces of blue with some erosion. The stocks are fair to good, with light cleaning, general use, but sharp checkering. Later sling swivels and hard-rubber butt added. The action is good, interior and bore very good, just needs careful cleaning and is from an estate. Est.: $600 - $1200
