Winchester model 42, 410ga, pump-action shotgun, finely upgraded, 26” barrel, Simmons type ventilated rib, finely engraved and gold inlayed with beautiful and fancy deluxe checkered burl walnut stocks. Serial number “136500”. The gun is excellent as upgraded, 98-99% plus showing just some handling and minor use since its restoration. The action is tight, the interior near excellent. The stock measures approx. 14-1/2” from the trigger to the end of the wood, approx. 15-1/4” to the end of the pad. The checkering is in very fancy patterns and beautifully executed and probably 80-100 lines per inch. The burl wood itself is a very high grade burl walnut, possibly French walnut, and was selected for its beautiful and high grade and would cost many thousands to replicate. Est.: $3,000 - $6,000.
