Winchester model 21, 12ga side by side shotgun, factory “Skeet” marked, factory 28” barrels, blue finish, beavertail forend, factory straight stock, checkered butt, single trigger, auto ejectors, serial #25978. The gun is choked “WS1” (right) and “WS2” (left) or approx. “Skeet” and “Improved Cylinder”. The gun remains in original very good plus condition showing 95-98% original blue, some slight losses at high points andedges, some drifting on the triggerguard, toning, sharp markings, and very crisp overall. The stocks are also very good plus with some good grain, sharp checkering, minor use and storage marks, some marks in thevarnish, stocks are at least very good. Stock measures 14-1/4” from the trigger to the end of the factory checkered butt. The gun shows a low-profile raised non-ventilated rib. The action is tight, the bores are very goodplus and look like they would clean to excellent with some dirt from cleaning. A desirable factory Skeet gun. From the Robert Petersen collection.
