Winchester model 1894 saddle ring carbine in fine to near excellent original condition, #337350. The carbine shows 90-95% original bright blue thinning on the edges of the frame, some just starting normal aging. The carbine is fitted witha three-leaf folding rear sight in original rear dovetail which shows platinum lines. There are a few light hit marks on the frame from the saddle ring which is normal. The hammer and loading lever show 90% bright case hardening. The stock is fin to near excellent with a couple of minor marks and one small loss at the top juncture of the frame, which is miniscule. The buttplate shows 80% original blue, the action is good, the bore is near fine. Would be hard to improve upon thisearly saddle ring with an expensive and desirable three-leaf sight showing three platinum lines. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
