Winchester model 1894 lever-action rifle, factory 26” octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent butt, .32 Winchester special caliber with factory marked .32 smokeless rear sight, serial #480929. The rifle remains inoriginal good to very good condition showing 40-60% blue on barrel, evenly drifting and toning with some slight scattered erosion and pinprick pitting. Wear at the edges and some minor mars. The frame has drifted to patinawith traces of blue. The stocks are good other than an area where the belly of the buttstock has been inletted for homemade rear sling swivel of a large size that has been since removed. This inlet measures approx.1-1/2” by 1/2”. Otherwise stocks show a nice light color, good wood to metal fit, and would be rated at least ‘good’. The rifle is mounted with a Lyman type rear tang sight, the action is good, the bore is good andlooks like it would clean to better. Est: $700 - $1,400
