Winchester model 1894 lever action rifle, .25-35 caliber, 26” octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent butt, #22804. Made pre 1898. These early 94’s were advertised by Winchester as the Klondike rifle and many headed North to Alaska. The barrel and magazine tube show 50-70% evenly thinning and toning blue finish going bright at the edges. Some minor scratches, surface erosion just starting. The frame shows traces of blue gone to brown and some minor areas of erosion and pinprick pitting. Stocks are good with small dings, mars, dents, normal use and aging. Markings good. Action tight. Bore very good. Made approx. 1895/96. Hard to find a 94 this early. Est: $1,000 - $2,000
