Winchester model 1894 Eastern Carbine with no saddle ring but shows carbine bands and butt. .30-30 caliber, nickel steel barrel, #1064630. The carbine shows 50-70% original blue on barrel and magazine tube evenly drifting on highpoints andedges, some beginning erosion and pinprick pitting. The frame shows 10-20% original blue that is flaking and drifting, some scratches, beginning erosion. The left side of the receiver shows 4 added tap holes with tap screws fromside-mounted sight or scope. The stocks are fair but buttstock shows refinishing. Some dings, mars, scratches in forend. The rear sight is a period replacement in the original dovetail. The markings are good, the action is tight, the bore is verygood. Est: $350 - $700
