Winchester model 1892 special order rifle, 24" round barrel, full magazine, takedown frame, crescent butt, two-leaf folding rear sight, beech folding front sight, in very good plus to near fine condition, #92741. The barrel and magazinetube show 90-95% original bright blue, some slight losses and magazine from operation of takedown mechanism. The frame shows 30-50% original blue drifting to patina with areas that the blue is missing going to a pleasing brownish patina. Thestocks are very good plus with some minor storage scratches and mars, dings, and compressions, but still a nice original color with good wood to metal fit, and buttplate shows original blue. Good sharp markings, crisp edges, tight action, bright bore, rifle shows very little use. Est: $2,000 - $4,000
