Winchester model 1892 special order rifle, 24" octagon barrel, .25-20 caliber, full magazine, takedown frame, crescent butt, #340346. Rifle remains in good original condition showing 50-70% original blue toning to brown with some minorerosion, surface pitting, areas of lightening from operation of takedown, but generally good edges and good markings. The frame shows approx. 30-50% blue going to patina. The takedown collar and forend cap show traces of finish drifting tonatural patina. The stocks are good with a slight grain, some minor bumps, scratches, mars, normal use, but at least good overall with good wood to metal fit. Action good, bore very good. Markings sharp. Takedown 92's are fairly scarce. Est:$1,600 - $3,200
