Winchester model 1886 special order short rifle, 22” round barrel, 3/4 mag, takedown frame, smooth uncheckered pistol-grip stock, sling swivels, Lyman receiver sight, hard-rubber recoil pad, .45-70 caliber, Lyman two-leaf folding rear sight in original factory dovetail with Lyman front sight. Serial #141122. The rifle remains in fine to excellent original condition with 90-95% original bright blue, some slight thinning the edges and slight scratches only. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp. The stocks are also near fine with some slight wear, minor scratches, a couple of dings and mars mostly on the forend. The stocks are very good plus. The loading lever shows 75% colorful case hardening, the hammer shows 50-60% case hardening. The loading gate shows 30-50% thinning blue. The action is tight, the bore is excellent. A scarce 86 with desirable configuration and caliber which appears to be all factory but in a serial number range that probably will not letter. Est: $7,500 - $12,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
