Winchester model 1886 special order extra short takedown rifle, .45-70 caliber, 22” round barrel, half magazine, shotgun butt, hard-rubber buttplate, serial #156319. The barrel shows 80-90% original blue drifting on the edges and muzzle with some slight scratches and good sharp markings. The forend cap, magazine tube, and takedown lever show 60% thinning original blue. The frame shows 20-30% original blue and is drifting to silver with some minor scratches. Stocks are good with even wear, slight opening to the grain, minor marks, scratches, stock shows damage and loss at the toe from being dropped, the edge rounded and the hard-rubber pad is miss its bottom 1/2. The action is tight the bore is ver" good plus and still brigh, may clean to excellent. The barrel is definitely original length and shows correct factory sight base with standard rear sight and Lyman front sight in the original raised base. These late 86’s generally will not letter, however this rifle is completely factory in our opinion and just needs some attention to the toe of the butt. Est: $1,500 - $2,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
