Winchester model 1886 saddle ring carbine, .45-90 caliber, received in the ware house October 29th, 1891, shipped November 23, 1891, to order #15687. With all features confirmed by factory letter, serial #62791.The gun remains in good original condition showing slight traces of blue and case hardened finish with some patina, erosion, pinprick pitting. Good barrel address, caliber marking retraced. The carbine retains its original bands, sights, saddle ring. Stocks are good to very good with some dings, mars, scratches, and small losses. Bolt shows most of the original blue, bore is at least good with a couple of areas that mayclean. The front sight blade is a Sheared replacement in the original Winchester base. An original carbine that is above average with one small defect to the caliber marking. Est: $3,500 - $7,000
