Winchester model 1886 rifle, .38-56 caliber, 26” octagon barrel, full magazine, plain trigger, rifle butt, received in the warehouse December 7th, 1905, shipped April 1st, 1907 to order #85370, 5/22 is recordedin the remarks column in factory letter, which verifies all features for rifle #136632. The rifle remain in fine to excellent original condition showing 96-99% original blue, some just beginning normalage, wood shows a few storage marks, but also excellent with near perfect wood to metal fit. Hammer and lever show 80-90% case hardening, butt shows 60-80% case hardening, just slight handling and beginning age.Excellent overall. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp, the bore is pristine. Would be difficult to improve upon. A 9.7 to 9.8 after 1-10 scale. Est: $14,000 - $28,000
