Winchester model 1886 Special Order deluxe factory engraved rifle, .33 WCF caliber, serial #156670. The rifle shows a 24” round barrel, half magazine, takedown frame, checkered 3X deluxe burl walnut stocks withpistol grip, hardrubber shotgun butt and grip cap, and extra long stock measuring nearly 15-3/4” from the trigger to the end of the wood. The rifle is deluxe engraved probably by one of the Ulrich brothers showing a large portrait panel on the left side with Bull Moose and Cow. There are the initials “C. A. A.” in a banner at the left bottom of frame. The right side of frame is beautifully scroll engraved with a smaller panel of bear. Theengraving is of very high quality for the time and may have been an exhibition gun but no factory records are available in this period. The rifle shows 75-85% original blue evenly drifting and toning with some verybright areas and no abuse whatsoever, just some slight use, minor scratches, and very sharp overall. The wood is very good plus with very sharp checkering, just some minor nicks, marks, normal aging. The markings are
