Winchester model 1873 deluxe rifle, first model, .44-40 caliber, 24” heavy round barrel, half magazine, set trigger, checkered select walnut stock, in early style. Serial #3918. The rifle shows sling-swivel type eyelets, veneer type long range tang sight, and folding beech type front sight. The rifle shows 50-60% original blue drifting to patina with some light erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The stocks are good to very good with crisp checkering and a light overcoating of clear varnish or shellac, with no sanding. Stocks show a few bumps, mars, and compressions. The hammer and lever show 50-60% toning blue, the original thumbprint dust cover shows considerable blue. The action is tight, the markings are sharp, the bore is very good plus. A nice special ordered first model 73 rifle, in an early range that may have been targeted. Est: $15,000 - $25,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
