Rifle is standard grade 86 with 26" octaganal barrel, full magazine, homemade German silver blade front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight. Mounted with burl and American walnut with straight stock and a crescent buttplate. Right side of buttstock is hand painted in white paint, "Cherokee Bill." Other partial letters have been worn away. Accompanied by a Cody firearms Museum letter. Condition: Good. Nor original finish remains. Wood has light nicks and scratches. Not inspected internally. Provenance: Will Wirsing, Ft.
