Winchester Sioux Saddle Ring Carbine Commemorative
This is an excellent Winchester Repeating Arms Co. Model 1894 (Model 94) lever action rifle in the very rare Sioux Commemorative finish. The rifle is chambered in a 30-30 caliber and shows a 20 inch round barrel with full magazine tube, both in a blue finish. The receiver, lever, and forestock cap are all in a brass finish on a deluxe walnut hardwood stock. The receiver shows wonderful factory engraving; the right side is marked with a pipe and stem with feather decoration, charging Buffalo with Indian teepee's along the foot of the mountains; the left side of the receiver is marked with a Sioux Warrior sitting crossed legged in the Plains holding a rifle with mountains and some of his war party in the background. The stock shows eight brass trade tacks surrounded a brass medallion coin of a Sioux Warrior Portrait. The rifle is in new condition, unfired, without the box present. The Sioux Commemorative Rifle is one of the more scarce commemoratives from Winchester with a smaller production run. The rifle has a serial number of SU09127 and was manufactured in 1976. FFL or NCIS background check required.
